Bosch Rexroth Solves a Critical Connectivity Challenge by Engaging Pyramid Solutions

Bosch Rexroth was involved in a large OEM automotive program with a very tight time-line and found that they quickly needed a method for interfacing their Weld Controller, which provided an EtherNet/IP Interface, to Robots that only supported a proprietary serial interface. The overall project required multiple Weld Controllers to interface to a number of redeployed Robots on the plant floor. Working with Pyramid, Bosch Rexroth was able to use a standard HMS Industrial Networks (HMS) Communicator product with services from Pyramid to implement the required proprietary serial protocol into the Communicator. As an AnyBus Solution Provider (ASP) for HMS, Pyramid Solutions is authorized to customize their products and was able to quickly develop the necessary functionality and deliver a fully functional solution, in minimal time, which was critical for the project’s success.

Flagstar needed a robust information capture system to manage a multitude of document types while expediting workflow. Working with Pyramid, Flagstar implemented a robust information capture system that includes Ascent Capture along with several Kodak i830 and 9500 series scanners. In addition, Pyramid Solutions helped the company establish a seamless workflow and better manage the flow of data throughout the system. Now Flagstar’s loan documents are accessible for processing the moment each loan enters the processing center.
